Cartridge CRT-20

The Aloris Cartridge CRT-20 is a high-performance, tool steel cartridge designed for use in a wide range of Aloris tooling systems, including the Aloris Adjustable-Shank Tool Holder, Universal Tool Holders, and the Aloris CBB5-20 & CBB4-20 Cartridge-Head Boring Bars.

Engineered for versatility and precision, the CRT-20 features a 12-position positive lock indexing system, allowing accurate adjustment every 15° for right-hand or left-hand turning, facing, or chamfering. Its exclusive positive locking mechanism applies 2-way clamping force—securing the insert firmly down and tight against the shoulder, minimizing movement under heavy cutting loads.

The CRT-20 accommodates standard triangular carbide inserts with six cutting edges, maximizing tool life and cutting efficiency. Built from hardened tool steel, this cartridge provides exceptional rigidity and repeatability. It can also be easily adapted to other boring bars or specialty tools, tailored to meet custom specifications in demanding CNC and manual machining environments.

Cartridge CRT-20 Has 12 indexing positions at 15° intervals. This means many angular turning and chamfering jobs can be done faster and easier.
