Aloris Cartridge-Head Boring Bar CBB5-20 is engineered for deep hole boring operations where maximum rigidity and zero tool deflection are critical. This precision-machined boring bar combines the strength of a hardened steel body with a cartridge-style cutting head, delivering superior stability and performance under heavy machining conditions.

The cartridge system is designed with 12 indexing positions spaced at 15° intervals, enabling a wide range of angular boring applications with repeatable accuracy. A two-way adjustable rake allows for a consistent 5° cutting angle and features a positive stop to ensure secure, repeatable tool alignment. Adjustments are easily made by loosening the cradle lock screws and selecting the desired rake angle setting.

All components of the CBB5-20 are heat treated for maximum durability and longevity, making this tool ideal for CNC lathes and manual setups requiring deep boring with precise angular control.
